A time comes when you need to stop waiting for the person you want to be and get active and be the person you want to be...
Quotes
"Acquire worldly wisdom and adjust your behavior accordingly. If your new behavior gives you a little temporary unpopularity with your peer group...then to hell with them." - Charlie Munger
People are anxious to improve their circumstances, but are unwilling to improve themselves; therefore remain bound - James Allen (as a Man thinketh)
“Sometimes even to live is an act of courage." ― Lucius Annaeus Seneca
"The one who puts the finishing touches on their life each day is never short of time. "-Marcus Aurelius.
"A fit body, a calm mind, a house full of love. These things cannot be bought — they must be earned." —Naval Ravikant.
"A time comes when you need to stop waiting for the person you want to be and get active and be the person you want to be" - Teronie J. Donaldson (yep that’s me, cool right?)
Notes
“He who is everywhere is nowhere” -Seneca
Say yes to what matters to you.
Sometimes the temptation is to do it all, be everything, and say yes to everyone.
Sometimes you have to say No to someone else to say Yes to yourself.
A little more focus on your goal and yourself is not a bad thing.
After all who else will make your life a masterpiece if you are not willing to paint the picture.

Book of the Week
The Almanak of Naval Ravikant
A great read.
Naval Ravikant is one of the most respected and successful angel investors in Silicon Valley. He has invested in over 100 startups including several “unicorn” companies such as Uber and Twitter.
I highly recommend this book. There were many themes that stood out to me but the lessons about reading really resonated. I love reading and what it has done for my mindset. The reality is that very few people actually read books. If you read books, even if it’s only for an hour a day, it will put you miles ahead of your competition.
“I would rather read the best 100 books over and over again until I absorb them rather than read all the books.”— Naval Ravikant
“The reality is I don’t actually read that much compared to what people think. I probably read one to two hours a day. That puts me in the top .00001%. I think that alone accounts for any material success that I’ve had in my life and any intelligence that I might have.”— Naval Ravikant
Even back when I was broke and I had no money. I always spent money on books. I never viewed that as an expense. That’s an investment to me.”— Naval Ravikant
Naval doesn’t believe in saving money on books. Why? A $10 or $20 book can easily change his life in a meaningful way, that’s a fantastic deal. Even when Naval was broke, he still spent money on books.
