Observations/Notes
Thoughts on growth
There will never be a perfect time to do something that will cause you to grow.
As growth is part of life so is fear.
That’s true for many things. Whether you are starting a business, getting into a new relationship, having a child, changing careers, or wrestling with any number of challenges.
Keep in mind it doesn't mean you have to have a YOLO (You Only Live Once) mentality. You don't have to be reckless and never think things through, but at some point, you have to embrace the uncertainty and take a leap as it is the only path forward.
If you were ready for it, it wouldn't be called growth.

Alison Ledgerwood joined the Department of Psychology at UC Davis in 2008 after completing her Ph.D. in social psychology at New York University. She is interested in understanding how people think, and how they can think better. Her research, which is funded by the National Science Foundation, investigates how certain ways of thinking about an issue tend to stick in people's heads. Her classes on social psychology focus on understanding the way people think and behave in social situations, and how to harness that knowledge to potentially improve the social world in which we all live.

The author learns more than the reader.
The speaker learns more than the attendee.
The way to learn is by doing. That is the most effective way.
A big reminder to keep focused on the doing
