Notes/Observations
Remember to set your own standards of success - this is very important as we tend to get stuck in comparison mode, especially with social media.
The old saying goes, "The grass always looks greener on the other side." Well, I like to say, "Life looks better on the other post."
People post their ideal lives on these platforms, not necessarily their struggles, so when everybody seems to be doing phenomenal, and you are in a rut - guess who ends up feeling worthless.
It's a shitty feeling but remember, someone else's journey is not yours.

Lessons Learned This week
1. Leadership is about cultivating environments where people feel safe. Openly criticizing the very people you’re wanting to become peers with doesn’t contribute to that.
I Witnessed an example of that and decided I never want to do this practice in my own business.
2. Your future is created by what you do today, not tomorrow.
In order to have what I want I have to keep on enrolling myself in the possibilities of creating my future now.
Useful Strategy
"Almost anything in life can be learned faster.
Most people learn passively. They wait for insights to come to them.
But you can speed things up by actively searching for useful ideas.
One strategy is to ask the top people what they do. Make their best practices your baseline."
I applied this when I wanted to learn more about my coaching business but it can be applied anywhere
Book Of The Week
The Psychology of Money: Timeless Lessons on Wealth, Greed and Happiness by Morgen Housel
Every so often, a book comes along that challenges your viewpoint. I thought I knew a lot about Finance, then I read “The Psychology of Money” by Morgan Housel, and it made me realize I had a lot to learn. Finance is more than saving and investing; it is predominantly about your psychology and behavior. And the actions you take as a result become the cornerstone to your financial success.
Some of my favorite lessons from the book. These 5 resonated with me on this read, Buy this book if you get the chance.
1 - The most important part of every plan is planning on your plan not going according to plan
2- A great rule of thumb in life applies to your income and that is "if you only have one source of income you are looking at catastrophe."
3- One of the most powerful ways to increase your savings isn't the raise your income it is to raise your humility
4- Flexibility and control over your time is an unseen return on wealth
5- Having more control over your time and options is becoming one of the most valuable currencies in the world
