Book of the Week
Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story by Arnold Schwartzenegger
This book is quite enjoyable and easily one of the best biographies I've ever read.
The story of Arnold Schwarzenegger is absolutely incredible. He became the most successful bodybuilder of all time and with his growing fame, completely popularized bodybuilding as a sport and lifestyle.
He became an icon for action movies, became a top box office draw and the highest-paid actor of his time, and made classic movies such as Terminator, Predator (one of my favorites), True Lies, and Conan the Barbarian. Then he went on to become the governor of California for two terms.
The book is incredible because it shows his mindset, drive, passion, and hunger for success. Also his adaptability and willingness to reinvent himself in different fields; Bodybuilding, Health, Business, Real Estate, and Politics.
Arnold came saw and conquered. It is very difficult, to sum this book up in a few paragraphs because there is so much you learn from his insights, observations, and stories.
Simply put there is a lot of value in this book and it’s well worth the read.
